Assalamo alaikom wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,
Naar aanleiding van de recente gebeurtenissen en de verklaringen vanuit Moskee Bilal Alkmaar willen wij het volgende benadrukken:
1. Het standpunt van de moskee is duidelijk en ondubbelzinnig. Er is bij ons nogmaals geen plek meer voor de imam binnen de moskee. Het bestuur draagt geen enkele verantwoordelijkheid voor zijn uitspraken of handelingen buiten de moskee. Er bestaat geen enkele formele of inhoudelijke relatie meer tussen hem en Moskee Bilal Alkmaar.
2. Bewaar de rust binnen onze gemeenschap. Het is belangrijk dat we als gelovigen ons blijven richten op verbinding, respect en onderlinge solidariteit. De situatie rondom de imam is inmiddels door het bestuur opgepakt en helder gecommuniceerd.
3. De moskee en haar achterban dienen buiten de kwestie te worden gehouden. De actie van de imam was op persoonlijke titel en staat volledig los van de visie van de moskee en haar gemeenschap. We vragen dan ook met klem om geen druk of bemoeienis te richten op het bestuur, de vrijwilligers of leden van de moskee. Verdraagzaamheid en wijsheid zijn onze kracht.
4. Geen ruimte voor onruststokers of verdeeldheid. Wij willen tevens benadrukken dat het bewust verspreiden van geruchten, valse informatie of het aanzetten tot verdeeldheid – binnen of buiten de gemeenschap – ernstige gevolgen kan hebben. Het bestuur van Moskee Bilal Alkmaar behoudt zich nadrukkelijk het recht voor om in gevallen van laster, smaad of opruiing passende juridische stappen te ondernemen tegen individuen of partijen die de rust, eer of veiligheid van onze gemeenschap in gevaar brengen. Wij roepen daarom eenieder op tot verantwoordelijk gedrag en het zoeken van opbouwende dialoog binnen de kaders van de wet en onze geloofswaarden.

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته،
نظرًا للأحداث الأخيرة والتصريحات الصادرة من مسجد بلال في ألكمار، نود أن نؤكد ما يلي:
١. موقف المسجد واضح ولا لبس فيه. لم يعد للإمام أي مكان داخل المسجد. لا تتحمل لجنة تسيير أمور المسجد أي مسؤولية عن تصريحاته أو أفعاله خارج المسجد. بعد هذه الأحداث لا توجد أي علاقة رسمية أو مضمونية بين الإمام وبين مسجد بلال ألكمار.
٢. حافظوا على الوحدة داخل جماعتنا. من المهم أن نستمر كمسلمين في التركيز على الترابط، والاحترام، والتضامن المتبادل. تَمَّ التعامل مع الموقف المتعلق بالإمام الآن بوضوح من قبل لجنة مسجد بلال وتمت معالجته بشفافية.
٣. المسجد وجماعة ألكمار ليس لهما علاقة بالأفعال الشخصية التي قام بها الإمام خارج إطار المسجد. ما قام به الإمام هو بصفته الشخصية ولا يعكس رؤية المسجد أو جماعته. نرجو عدم الضغط أو التدخل في شؤون لجنة المسجد أو المتطوعين أو أعضاء المسجد. التسامح والحكمة هما قوتنا.
٤. لا مجال للمشاكل أو زرع الفتنة. نؤكد أن نشر الشائعات أو المعلومات الكاذبة أو التحريض داخل أو خارج الجماعة له عواقب وخيمة. تحتفظ لجنة مسجد بلال ألكمار بحقها في اتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية المناسبة في حال تم التعرض لها بالتشهير أو الافتراء أو التحريض. لذلك، نناشد الجميع بالتصرف بمسؤولية والسعي إلى الحوار البناء في إطار القانون وقيمنا الإسلامية.

In light of recent events and the statements from Mosque Bilal Alkmaar, we would like to emphasize the following:
1. The mosque’s position is clear and unequivocal. Once again, there is no place for the imam within the mosque. The board bears no responsibility whatsoever for his statements or actions outside the mosque. There is no longer any formal or substantive relationship between him and Mosque Bilal Alkmaar.
2. Maintain peace within our community. It is important that we, as believers, continue to focus on connection, respect, and mutual solidarity. The situation surrounding the imam has been addressed by the board and communicated clearly.
3. The mosque and its community must be kept out of this matter. The imam acted in a personal capacity, and his actions are entirely separate from the vision of the mosque and its congregation. We therefore strongly urge everyone not to place pressure on or interfere with the board, the volunteers, or the members of the mosque. Tolerance and wisdom are our strength.
4. No room for agitators or division. We also wish to emphasize that the deliberate spreading of rumors, false information, or incitement to division—whether within or outside the community—can have serious consequences. The board of Mosque Bilal Alkmaar explicitly reserves the right to take appropriate legal action in cases of defamation, slander, or incitement against individuals or groups who endanger the peace, dignity, or safety of our community. We therefore call on everyone to act responsibly and to seek constructive dialogue within the boundaries of the law and our faith values.
